When the Eclat team asked for a simple and durable freecoaster hub with a larger slack setting than most, they got to work on developing something totally new.
The Eclat Cortex Freecoaster Hub takes the tried and tested clutch style internals, and addresses all of the problems that those hubs had infamously been plagued with in the past. Built with a 6061-T6 alloy hub shell that's paired with a hollow bore, hardened and heat-treated chromoly male axle ensuring those parts are incredibly strong and durable.
It also features 2 high-quality bearings and bushing driver, high-performance durable bearings in hub shell making sure everything rolls real smooth, updated 3 point internals allow for much smoother crankflips and comes with Eclat's Viper and Gong nylon/fibreglass hubguards.
